Willie Brooks

Willie J. Brooks, Jr. began capturing beautiful things in an artistic way at a very young age. Born
in 1985, and reared in Greenville, Ala., Brooks, has been drawing and painting since the early
age. While art has been his passion since childhood, he began experimenting with watercolor and
oil pastels along with acrylics and coloring pencils. The love for art and its different mediums
became an even greater passion as he grew into a young adulthood.

Throughout high school, Brooks was nationally recognized for his drawings and paintings in
many art competitions under the instruction and guidance of Mrs. Stacey Edwards of Greenville
High School. Later, Brooks became eager to learn more about art and the basics of each
medium. Today, he is still just as eager to design, paint, and draw anything imaginable.

Brooks has ventured into graphic arts by experimenting with creating logos, tattoo
designs, monograms, calligraphy and designing book and compact disc covers.
